It All Begins With an Idea.

Maybe you have a vision for the perfect engagement ring. Maybe you've always imagined a special piece of jewelry but never knew where to begin. Perhaps you have a family heirloom that deserves a new life, or a piece you rarely wear that could be transformed into something you'll love again.

Whatever your starting point, Chateau Jewelers can turn your ideas into something uniquely yours.

Our custom jewelry process combines your vision with our decades of experience, craftsmanship, and design expertise. From the first conversation to the moment you see the finished piece, we'll guide you through every step.

Step 1 — Let's Talk About Your Vision

Every custom piece begins with a conversation.

When you visit Chateau Jewelers, we'll sit down with you to understand what you're imagining. You don't need to have everything figured out. Bring us a picture, a sketch, an inspiration, an existing piece of jewelry, or simply an idea in your head.

We'll discuss what you like, what you don't like, how you'd like the finished piece to look and feel, and what you want it to represent.

Don't have a design yet? That's okay. Our team can help you explore ideas and

find the direction that's right for you.

Step 2 — Choose Your Materials & Stones

Once we understand your vision, we'll help you make the decisions that bring the design together.

Depending on the project, this may include selecting:

  • Diamonds or gemstones

  • Natural or lab-grown diamonds

  • Gold, platinum, or other precious metals

  • The shape, size, and quality of your stones

  • Settings, finishes, and design details

We'll explain your options clearly so you can make informed decisions that fit both your style and your budget.

Step 3 — Bring the Design to Life !

This is where your idea begins to become a real piece of jewelry.

Our design process allows us to develop the details of your piece before it is created. We'll work through proportions, shapes, stone placement, dimensions, and other design elements to make sure everything comes together beautifully.

For more intricate projects, we can use modern design and modeling techniques to help you visualize the piece before production.

You get to be part of the creative process.

Step 4 — Review, Refine & Perfect

Great custom jewelry is all about the details.

Before your piece is produced, we'll review the design with you and make any necessary adjustments. This is your opportunity to refine the details and make sure the finished piece reflects exactly what you envisioned.

Our goal isn't simply to make something beautiful.

It's to make something that feels like it was made specifically for you—because it was.

Step 5 — Expert Craftsmanship In-House

Once the design is finalized, the craftsmanship begins.

Unlike many jewelry stores that send custom work away, Chateau Jewelers has its own on-site manufacturing facility. This allows us to maintain close oversight of the production process and ensure that every detail meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Our experienced craftsmen take your approved design and carefully transform the materials into the finished piece.

From the structure and setting to the smallest finishing details, every part is handled with precision and care.
